Bryan, some of what you went through sounds very familiar to me, but I only
had about 3 torturous weeks of no sleep that defied all sleep drugs
prescribed to me. My prescribing physician could not BELIEVE that nothing
she gave me could make me sleep!

My physical/mental breakdown occurred about 1 and a half years before I went
through a bit of psychosis and started having things I dream come true, so
for a long time I had this mystery illness before the rest of it started to
unfold and I found descriptions of k online. I think that a prescription
drug, along with stress and some spiritual experiences precipitated my
initial big meltdown (although I had some mysterious years-earlier problems
after taking yoga classes which may have been the real beginning). I'd be
interested to hear more about your prescription drug situation, if you're
willing to tell it.

warmly,
Shelle
