This is common, and a story that I live, as well. My wife did start off
spiritually inclined, yet was swayed by life to go another path. Personal
stuff, not something I am free to discuss, much less comment about.

Am remembering the saying, "One zen master in house is enough", but have
known couples/families who have pulled it off. Life always brings to us
what we need. Trust, acceptance, and openness. Our lessons have foundation
in spiritual life, but aren't necessarily of that facet.
