way i see it is we are neatly intwined in some kind of
reality web
as we cease to be held by the confines of this one
(reality) we start to be more aware of the
interconnectedness of all things

you see, when you go to bed, you are no longer held in
this dimension, therefore you are able to roam around
in the astral planes

when you stop having soooo many attachments to the
physical world then perhaps you stop needing it so
much, or, stop 'imagining' that this is all that is

what i read once is that we are always dreaming all
day long, simultaneously living in multiple realities,
but only when we dream can we fully experience the
others, or in meditation.
