Hi Karen,

Nobody is knowing that for sure but:

1) a combination of male/female polarity (the cirkel (womb) and the male (line)
2) Its a life symbol, regenerative.
3) the Gods/Goddesses were carrying it, it's also a quality of energy which
inhabits all.
And 4) each symbol is a gateway in itself......
If you are meditating on it, everything can happen, but you can ask before
to get some extra information about it!
