Susan,

Think you like you overlooked the quotation marks. The term is a simple
translation of the term used there. It means to take the energy out of the
eggs and as I said divert it to finishing K process. Never waste energy is
the secret of all practices.

As for the blood it does have power, but at that time it also has a lot of
bad energy in it as it leaves via that route. As I said that is good for the
woman because it cleanses her body but it does weaken her. TANSTAAFL.

There are some useful trantric practices yes, but trantra in the west is
usually not true tantra. It about justifying another reason to "get it on."
As if the people still have guilt and need some reason other than fun when
they aren't going for reproduction to allow them to do have sex.

True tantra involves sexual practices about 5% of the time. The other 95% of
the practices do not involve sex at all. Most people in the west don't
consider anything not involving sex to be tantric. (Another case of the our
dominate society polluting just by seeing and touching.)

Also all of these practices are very risky, even the screwed up ones that
get taught here, most of the time without the precautions that would be
taught and stressed by a good and true tantric teacher. Most sexual
practices can do serious damage to one or both people involved if not done
correctly or if one or both people aren't ready for them.

Sexual tantra can be very helpful on the path but the more boring practices
are best for most people because the danger from them is much much less and
a decent teacher of those practices is much much easier to find.

I am currently doing some nonsexual tantric practices and getting good
benefit from them. My girlfriend has some problems that make it very unwise
to do any of the tantric sexual practices now. When those problems are
resolved we will add some of those to our practice but this is not the time.
She has an injury to her third chakra, from birth, she was a premi, that has
never been fixed. Too big a rush of energy could cause her serious harm.
When that is taken care of we'll do some of the safer practices and see how
that goes. After that we'll decide on the more risky stuff.

Many of the more powerful practices are like twirling a shotgun with your
finger in the finger guard. It can look very cool. But as one NBC sports
anouncer recently found out you can also cause much harm. In that case
killing one, hurting the family and those who loved and depended on that
person, and putting a real crimp in a promising career of the person doing
the twirling.

I may appear too conservative for some, but safer is better. Especially if
it works as well in the long run.

Namaste,

Joe
