A modern twist on the ancient methods of sinus cleansing is to use a water
pik (with a special tip that costs about $18. I don't use the special tip,
but I don't put the water pik all the way into my nostril so that I don't
get full pressure from the water pik. I do use the advertised saline
solution but I don't see any reason why you couldn't figure out the salt
ratios and do it yourself if you wanted.) There are instructions for sinus
