I have a lesson for you! We have postulated that a bee stuck in honey is happy, and that a fly stuck in ____ is equally happy. Now, suppose you are a bee stuck in ____, or a fly stuck in honey.... by remembering who you are, (which is an excellent analogy, btw...), and considering the nature of semantics, how would you be able to find happiness even though you are not in your preferred "environment"? Who, or what is it that is experiencing either the _____, or the honey? :-)
