Hi Emily,

it seems to me that there are two kinds of people: the first kind
feels threatened by a chaotic universe producing things as bad as
accidents, while the other feels threatened by a determinism, that
seems to be ruling everything, if not interupted by something like an
accident. Assuming that both types of people strive for a sense of
meaning, I guess the first type feels more strongly the need of an
integrated purpose, while the second cannot see how to do without
freedom (from law & purpose).

I belong to the second group. At the same time I belong to those old-
fashioned kind of people, that still live essentially in a
conventional 4D-space-time world. I am more or less only lurking
here to see, with what sort of strange ideas Kundalini people come up
with (honestly I always have a pretty painful time whenever the
discussion gets into this Karma stuff). In contrast I find your
vision is quite an enjoyable one. Imagine it from my point of view:
if there were a God/dess (or even worse a Karma machine) that would
have precalculated the purpose and value of everything, wouldn't this
reduce the Universe to a frivolous theater, just executing what
already has been solved? No creativity, nothing unexpected? Why then
does it exist if its only purpose is to return to non-existence?

Next I consider, whether you really suffer some "metaphysical" loss
if you accept your recent vision to be true.
> But this consciousness is NOT God in the sense that we understand
> God.
Are you sure? Wasn't it assumed that God/dess is identical/intrinsic
with this Universe (as far as I understand the "modal" opinion among
Kundalini people)? Thus purpose and process where always assumed to
be unseparable. Accordingly there was never a purpose separate from
the universe and there was no purpose supplied from the "outside" or
from "before-the-beginning" or from the "having-always-been-
existing".

I don't say if this vision is true, then the other need to be wrong,
but as it is, I like this one.
