Subject: [K-list] conisdering things
From: Michael Read

News on the radio this morning - another suicide bomber in the middle
east.
Jerusalem, actually, the home of many beautiful people and some
decidedly mad
ones. How did the world get this way? How did this illusion turn out so
terrible
to some? Ah...

No wonder some folk would like to find a reality where life is
interesting without
all the person to person bloodshed. How would that world look and feel?
Would the unbounded beauty be any less, any more? Ah...

Pain and suffering visit us all. They bring striving and straining with
them. Surrender seems
like a wall flower when pain and suffering start their dancing. Grace
delays and understanding
stands aloof from the crowded floor. Most dance alone. Ah...

Would you kill to get to heaven? Ah...

Gentle children singing. Ah...

One life a speck in the vastness. How now, proud speck? Ah...

To wrap my arms around you a thousand times, yes, and then dissolve
over and over again. Never knowing who was which, not a care. Ah...

Ah, these visions that parade endlessly! When there is no tomorrow no
yesterday
and now is so full! Ah...
