Dear Sofia,
    In the past I have experienced terrible periods of isolation. It was so dark
and lonely in my "mind" that I would call up the "time service" phone number
just to hear the voice speak. I closed the doors, closed the curtains, and
pulled the blankets over my head for days at a time. In the very depth of that
darkness all that was left to me was the sound of my heart and my breathing.
Those sounds, and focusing on each breath slowly brought me to the realization
that I was ALIVE, and that I was breathing in and exhaling LIFE. The air I
breathed became all of creation... If breathing meant being alive, then the
breath contained all of existence. That expanded to an awareness that I was in
some pretty amazing company! I have experienced very dark periods since then,
but the fear, loneliness, anxiety have become almost non-existent. I feel deep
sadness during those times and my "thinking" sometimes becomes "muddy", but that
would be expected I guess. For me the breath of LIFE returned me to the grand
party that I had tried to walk away from!
