Subject: [K-list] chest pain/digestive troubles?

Hi all,

I'm kinda late with this question, as the above problems
occurred a year ago and have not recurred recently. But I'm strill
curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Last year about this time, when I was going thru some intense K
episodes, I started suffering what felt like a gastric ulcer--a
burning pain in my stomach area. Then, at times, my heart would
race, as if my blood pressure were suddenly going up. Also, I
started having pains higher up, in my chest. I really feared I was
having a mild heart attack--*and* a stomach ulcer, at the same
time! One night it was so bad, I couldn't sleep a wink--I was
sitting up in the dark at 4 a.m., wondering whether I should drive
myself to an emergency room.

(I noticed this would usually start, not when I was engaged in
strenuous activity, but usually sitting in front of my computer.)

Having no job and no health insurance at the time, I had to
spend all day in the county hospital getting checked out. Had to
undergo the quite uncomfortable test (those who have been
examined for stomach ulcer know what I mean), only to find out it
was probably just really bad heartburn. I took the meds they gave
me for a few days, then quit. I took more of the nutrition stuff I
use, which seemed to help also. The problem has only returned
a few times since then, in a much milder form.

Another weird symptom: a tickling in my ear (usually left) that
had me completely convinced that some kind of bug had flown in
there and gotten stuck! I noticed this often accompanies the
stirring of the K energy. Anyone else gotten this too?
