Why can't it be both? As I said: "Then I'm free to decide if the phenomenon
is *only* a physical phenomenon or *also* a spiritual one." It's about
being fully-informed, not about swallowing science wholesale.

I don't believe that things need to be so dichotomous, so either/or, so
black/white, so science/spirit. Why can't they be blood cells *and* prana
particles?
