Dear Maura,

These experiences are fairly common among K active people--so common , in
fact, that we did a poll back in Sept 1999 :) See below for short synopsis.

The energies in the sexual centers can be pretty extraordinarily powerful!

about

I've managed to see my similar experiences as metaphor--being the only way
one's psyche can attempt to explain totally astounding, out of this world
*sensation.* Being raped or made love to by gods or entities is about the
only metaphor that can cut it! On the other hand...the cosmos is a pretty
vast place! I simply prefer to find more "rational" explanations! LOL
There's an interesting article that touches on these experiences in the NY
Times on Sleep Paralysis and the Incubus/succubus phenomena (quoted in the
archives at the end of message 9328)

Hope this helps a bit. As always, the best "solution" is to surrender to the
energies. Pretty frequently "demonic" entities turn to gods and goddesses
once one accepts/realizes that all is Love.

Love, Hillary

Poll Question: How many of us have felt spirits/gods either rape or make love
to us.

How would you characterize the experience? i.e.
positive, blissful, joyful
negative, frightening, horrifying
comical, other.ATnospam

Nine people responded to this poll-

Five people characterized the experience as positive, consentual love making.
Two people said that they experienced all the emotions listed--both positive
and negative--at different times.
One mentioned the experience without catagorizing it as positive or negative.

One person who had had an enjoyable experience warned about being sidetracked
on the quest for [spiritual] liberation.
