Subject: [K-list] Dan's question on Kundalini
From: gyrefalcon_argenteus

On 2001/12/07 11:39, gyrefalcon_argenteus posted thus to the K-list:

Dan e-mailed me a question. I'm posting my answer here, and not
returning just an e-mail because I have found when one asks a
question, many others want to know, but don't ask.

Daniel, You said:
I guess, if I was to ask for clarification :, if its the divine
within me, is me in essence, were do you reach the point ware its my
will and not His/Her will (in reference to God/dess.)

I respond:
In my path I have studied many religions including some Jewish. I
recently read "God is a Verb" by Rabbi Cooper. He seems to trancend
some Jewish teachings and embrace some things from the east. The
central theme of his book is that we should not worship God, but
rather we should start "Godding." By treating the word 'god' as a
verb, we don't see it as an entity but rather as an action.

In the west we tend to like to seperate things into good and bad,
right or wrong ectera. In the east they recognise that there is a
little good in the most severe evil and some wrong in every right.
That is to say, life is a spectrum of possibilities, not a list of
absolutes. There are times when you are being carries by the
goddess, lost in her energy, and there are times when you fight her
and assert your will. If you were ever able to completely surrender
to (Christians call her the Holly Spirit, Holly Ghost, Do Jews?)
Kundalini the would call you a Zen master in the east and one who
lives by the Tao, depending on the religion. This doesn't mean that
you have lost your free will, only that you are no longer a slave to
the sensory world and that you and the Goddess move as one; her will
is your will, your will is hers.

I hope this helps,
Gyrefalcon
