hi Rich,

your advice about exploring past lives seems very balanced and sensible...
although i have a slightly different take on what is happening... and i have
experienced incredibly intense detailed "past life memories" after having
major bodywork (posture restructuring) done in response to a life-changing
illness... some of the material was historically verifiable...

when we remember these lives, they may not be memories of a linear sequence
of lives that were specifically our own... memory of all lives ever lived
are fully available to all of us in the Collective Unconscious, so perhaps
we merely access lives that were lived by All Of Us, as a whole... we then
choose specific stories that resonate with our own current experiences...

if so, then instead of past life issues causing our present situations, our
current issues lead us to tap into "past lives" that have particular
significance to us at the moment we "remember" them... their messages can
still be used to help resolve difficulties we are having, in exactly the
same way you have described...

i must give credit to Mystress Angelique ( www.fire-serpent.com ) for
helping to clarify this issue for me... although i was already tending to
look at it this way, it really blew my mind when she layed out this
viewpoint so clearly for me...
