Dear Kate, List,
For K active people, falling in love can be a relatively dangerous activity!
:))
Kundalini and Falling in love both have a certain quality of madness in
common :)), so when they are combined there can be some pretty extraordinary
and sometimes rather bizarre repercussion!
We frequently find our libidos go into hyperdrive. An ordinary strong
physical attraction can become overwhelming when combined with being K
active.
And when the heart is opened to love, and at the same time the heart chakra
is opened, the reaction can be cataclysmic. In fact falling in love is a
major trigger to Kundalini. Falling in love *while* K active can result in
an intensity that is difficult to
deal with even when the love is reciprocated.
When we become K active we discover the cosmic qualities of love--we find
that all of existence is orgasmic, that *everything* is love. We realize
that we are all one and that that *one* is love personified. At this stage
of awareness, when *everything* is love, there is a danger of connecting
emotionally so strongly that it is difficult, when a potential partner comes
into the picture, to separate ordinary love from cosmic love. If *we* can
feel such an extraordinary coming together--a soul connection--a perfect
union--then it is an *impossibility* that this feeling isn't fully shared.
Somewhere, sometime, perhaps literally universes of time and distance apart,
there simply has to be a mutual coming together. It can't be otherwise.
And yet if it becomes obvious that the love isn't equally shared, we have to
come to terms with the contradiction. I think that although at the cosmic
level we *all* love one another with this intensity, we have to deal with the
down to earth reality that
not everyone is aware of this! :)).
Josh mentioned becoming friends, and this is probably the ideal, to react
with *unconditional* love. To realize that it is enough, simply, to love.
But I also think it shows astonishing strength to break away when a
relationship--even a cosmic one--isn't working at all levels.
