Subject: [K-list] List owners: Yahoo nonsense

I am on a list that has about 4600 members and generates about 70
emails a day. Two weeks ago all messages from 1998 foward just
vanished along with the files, photos, everything. The group is still
there just no history.

Last week the list came back up and then three days ago it is down
again. The files were never recovered and probably won't be.

Yahoo says they are having server problems. Yahoo is being slow to
respond to this problem.

If you haven't archived your list members or your list's files, it
might be wise to do so.
