I can now confess that I started writing, and then deleted...
I was writing about the golf war, and how I could not comfort my daughter.
She was 9 years old, and asked me, what is going to happen, and I told
her, nothing will happen, it will all be over tonight, and life will be
back to normal. That night, the bombing started. (We live in Israel).
She called me a liar, and told me, she will never trust me again, and
maybe that is a bit harsh, because basically, she does trust me, but she
knows very well that I do not have all the answers, and I make a lot of mistakes.
I spent the war with my arms around the kids (2 girls). I'm not sure it
helped them, but it helped me
