Well, I'm no expert at the symbolism in palmistry, I find it
fascinating that that the lines change as I move through life. I do
know that a big space between the head and age lines... this would be
the two lines that start on the rightest side of the right hand... in
me, they're seperated about 1/2 inch which supposedly indicates a
VERY independant child. <VBG> Lines between the two lines supposedly
indicate accomplished goals.

The small lines on the top left most part of the hand under the pinky
are relationship lines, with lines going the same direction as the
fingers meaning children... I have two lines that showed up kind of
off to the side as my nephews were born. Neat to watch that one. :)

I also have *the big M* which is supposed to represent money. :)
It's usually made up of three of the main lines. Knowing that I get
what I focus on, I remember the good signs and forget the bad. :)

I have three stars, two of lines, like sticks, and one made of
triangles. Like a pentagram. One stick star under the marriage
finger, meaning, uh, fortunate in relationships? :)

When I started looking at other people's palms I noticed alot of my
lesbian friends had *bent* middle fingers. I'd be interested if any
kinksters have that too? A finger that seems to lean towards the
other fingers more one way or another.

I think palmistry is just like any other means of looking at and
understanding self and other. I think it's fun and neat, but I don't
take it too seriously in the end. It requires a lot of learning of
symbols and their meaning, and I'd rather be dancing. :)
