Yes, Michael, I agree.

I recall one year during my residence in the cult commonly known as
architecture school... the incoming graduate class was filled with
exuberent, highly motivated, talented people... who didn't have a
clue about power tools.

One woman, goggles strapped firmly in place, was seen advancing
towards the table saw with a large sheet of glass. The entire shop
fell silent, other power tool users aghast at what they saw about to
happen. Lucky for everyone that the shop guy yelled STOP! Lucky for
everyone that the glass wielding woman heard him. Apparently, she had
seen someone cutting clear sheets on the table saw and thought it was
glass. It had been -plexiglass-.

The lesson of this story: safety first is fine (goggles), but you
gotta know what you're dealing with, too. <grin>
