Dear Tony, the most effective way to help against this war is to finnish the
war we handle inside. To finnish this war implies a deep and real
understanding of the mechanism that have caused it. It is not by reacting
that we will stop the fight. It is only by recognizing who we are, behind
all the phantoms we believe we are, that the nonsense of war will take place
in our thoughts and therefore in our actions. By recognizing who we are our
truthfull will can extend to others and help them to stop giving strenght to
conflicts of any kind.
I have found in A course In Miracles practise an effective tool to take out
the ill seeds in my mind that give strenght to the old beliefs that keep us
witnessing the apparent reality of all this drama.
It is not a thing of indiference, on the contrary, it has to be with
re-establishing in our minds all that is real valuable. The Son of God is
the One who is real and the extension of His Love trough His creations is
the only thing with worth. This word that at first sight we see is not the
world we want, but there is someone in us that still believes in it and give
to it all its strenght and reality. Christ let us a lesson that in spite of
all the suffering a man can experience, the one whose purpose is to see
behind the apparent reality and forgive will not dead. Don´t you think how
wonderfull should be to let all our minds rest in sanity and share as one
the holliness that still sustain us?.
I am sure that the best help for people suffering is to remember them who
they are. And the best way to communicate this is from our awakened heart
that sees and stands in the peace of this Holliness.
