Namaste.

Forgiving is letting go of a particularly damaging emotional
attachment...ie. Hate and resentment.

This doesn't clean up karma but it prevents the formation of more
negative karma.

The forgiven may not give a flying donut for your forgiveness, it is
for yourself that it is done.

Emotions in the human animal self have to be overcome in exchange for
compassion. That is move up from the lower to higher levels of mind.
Developing detachment but at the same time using 'Holy Indifference',
that means compassionately helping etc, without becoming part of the
emotional equation........ONS.......Tony.
