Well, we did a poll about a year ago about hallucinogens in general:

files/K-List%20Polls/Pills%20a

nd%20Cheap%20Thrills%20Poll.txt

The primary result was that only about a fourth believed that drug
experience(s) had any influence on their becoming K active, and only about
the same number felt that the drug experience(s) caused them to further
explore metaphysical and or religious questions. But it was a very small
sample.

Absolutely! :))

Yeah! Breath-taking isn't it! :)) It seems to be part of the bliss
"syndrome."

Itzhak Bentov Quoted in Kundalini Experience by Lee Sennella writes:

"1. The heart-aorta system produces an oscillation...in the skeleton,
including the skull...2. The skull accelerates the brain up and down,
producing acoustical plane waves reverberating through the brain...3. These
acoustical plane waves are focused by the skull onto the ventricles, thus
activating and driving standing waves within the third and lateral
ventricles...4. Standing waves within the cerebral ventricles in the audio
and supersonic ranges stimulate the sensory cortex mechanically, resulting
eventually in a stimulus traveling in a closed loop around each hemisphere.
Such a traveling stimulus may be viewed as a "current." 5. As a result of
these circular "currents," each hemisphere produces a pulsating magnetic
field..."

One of Bentov's references is Cohen, D. 1972 "Magnetoencephalograph:
Detection of the Brain's Electrical Activity with a Superconducting
Magnetomenter." Science 175, no. 4022 (February 11): 664-666.

The pressure of this magnetic field seems to push on various brain centers,
including the pleasure centers, but Bentov seems to imply that it all starts
in the heart! :)).
