Asunto: [K-list] Hello, intro, some questions, a plug for my bussiness, etc. >Hi there-
>
>I am new to the list- and I really have enjoyed reading it for the last
>couple of days.

>:))"It's a wonderful list. I've been here for a
    week, I love them all "

>A brief intro about me... I live in Santa Cruz CA; was a grad student in
>Jungian psychology and am taking time off; love Star Trek Voyager (the
>writers of the show were heavily into Jung;

:)) I've read interesting books written by Jung, he made a link with Eastern
phylosophies. I'm his fan.

> struggle with depression and mood swings; have
>spontaneous periods of bliss lasting from a few seconds to five or ten
>minutes (interestingly enough- it often happens when I am with groups of
>people!);

:)) I feel those periods of bliss, mostly when I'm alone.

 have intense dreams- finally starting to learn to work with them;

:)) I'm reading books written by Gurus, and have looked into the web, for
answers. After I stopped meditation, I used to do it twice a day for 45
minutes. now I do it only once a week, dreams are less intense. I used to
suffer heat flushes and intense headaches. Also eating and sleeping
disorders I'm learning from others' experiences. and learning
"to live with it"

>I am sort of new

> :)) I'm also new, I don't know much, but I've searched a lot.  Hope to be
helpful.

>Seth's top four questions:
>1)Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the relationship
>between Marijuanna and K?

:)) There are some books about peyote, written by Carlos Castañeda, about
perceptions and taking some substances. The experience is alike, (I've read
about it)But in long term isn't the same.

>2)Does anyone out there believe it is possible to experience bliss,
>awareness, happiness or joy almost all of the time?

:)) ALMOST all the time, for me there are long periods and then something
happens, it stops....

>3)Does anyone have experience with really living a dedicated sadhana- like
8
>hours+ a day while living "in the world?"

:)) This is something I'm learning to deal with, world responsabilities,
being a mother, a wife, a teacher, a friend. I had a long period, when I
lost perspective and I only wanted to be at home with my family, meditation
and searching, I think is a process Sometimes was even panic to go out or to
see people. Thank God was only about 1 year. Till I came back, I've
learned that all of it is the same,
everything is good, everything is bliss, every activity is love,
meditation, jogging, cooking, teaching, walking. As Hillary said, life is a
meditation.
I'm learning to balance my life.
