Everyone, may we please gently back off from the whole WTC topic?

I know people are wanting to grieve, spew and release but too much
attachment causes imbalance. Not to tread on anyones expression, or show
disrespect.. quite the opposite. I think many of us are suffering from
some sort of emotional stress trauma and a quiet place to be where the
trigger topic does not come up can be very healing.

I am observing a lot of people becoming quite frightened even by silly
things such as smoke faces that would hardly get a second glance if they
appeared in any other cloud, and reacting extravagantly to things they
heard that have not been said.

Our thoughts do manifest our reality, by shaping our perceptions, and
every thought is a prayer... and we are surrounded by triggers and
reminders everywhere else in the media. Nursing fears, hurt feelings or
grief until you develop a psychosis or alienation does not serve anyone. I
know, because I already did... in my own way. Getting better now. Slowly.
Need more peace and quiet. Less drama.

Emotional numbing, along with loss of pleasure, lack of concentration,
insomnia, headaches, alienation and distrust are the symptoms of
post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Victims aren't the only ones who can suffer. Rescue workers, family
members, co-workers, and even those who watched from a distance --
including on television -- are also at risk, says Sitterlee.

It is an descending spiral, with the negative emotions being tossed
back and forth and getting bigger as they go... a kind of violence to
ourselves and each other.

"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral,
begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing
evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but
you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence
you murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence
merely increases hate...Returning violence for violence multiples
violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate
cannot drive out hate: Only love can do that."

and the pacifist. I am Hitler and I am Gandhi. I am Jesus and I am Lucifer.
I am the Light and the illusion of its absence. I am the creator and the
destroyer. I AM.
