hi folks,

well, i would hate for this list to get into a vote or a flame war about
this issue... but i do not want Jerry to be made to feel isolated and
put down about his opinions...

Cat, you speak about what reading Jerry has not been doing from a
position of complete ignorance... you do not know him...

i have just been starting to get to know him, and i consider him one of
the most educated, well-rounded, intelligent and wise people around...
not to mention the wisdom earned by his years of well-diversified
experiences and observations...

you may disagree with his opinion, that is fair enough... (although i
mostly agree with him)... but, Cat, if you self-righteously believe
yourself so much more aware of the truth than he is... let me be the
first person to tell you... you are wrong!
