Although I would like to believe we could influence the potential of a war, I
guess we do not really have that option... of all the possibilities, I was
hoping that could be one of them. I realize if I did not have my son to think
of, I would not be so compelled.

By the way,
Since September 19th last year, I have had a repeat dream of my rambo warrior
self on a hellicopter rescue into Afganistan to rescue the women who are so
oppressed there. Symbolically, perhaps rescuing those who are victims not
supporters of the fundamentalist views of its current government.
