Hello to everone on the list.

I also believe that some people can be like emotional/energy vampires. In my
experience the people who have been like this towards myself and others, all
believed that they were highly intellectual/spiritual beings.
I have also seen that when this type of person has no one to 'teach' they
fall into a state of depression, sometimes into addiction - this is
interesting - their vampirish ways are in fact a form of addiction. It is
almost as if they need (not want) to tell people how spiritual they are.
Something that I have noticed is that his type of person will latch onto
people who have just started on the spiritual path. People who are ripe for
knowledge but are unaware of spiritual abuse. The vampirish person loves
being around these vibrant energetic things!
I am not a psychologist but I have also noticed that 2 people who I would
'label' emotional vampires were teased at school and had bad relationships
with their parents. They never felt accepted until they had a huge amount of
knowledge to impart to other people - then they felt needed.
Shahadaa, it sounds to me as though you have now been on the path for some
time, your innerself is perhaps realising that you are in fact the stronger
person in this relationship.In my experience (again!) when this type of
person realises that you have started to question their intelligence, they
become scared. they will try to make you feel dumb. (You sound very bright
to me) They are infact desperately trying to hold onto you. Their
intelligence/spiritual knowledge is the only thing that makes them inportant
and if this is questioned, they have nothing.
He may have read 20 books on demon possession, remember that the greatest
teacher and all the answers are within yourself.
