Let's say: feeling lively makes me feel good.

However, were it not for times of feeling unlively, I would not be
able to truly appreciate the lively times.

Were I to increase in love, would I enhance my appreciation of hate?

Interesting... an indirect expansion to include the entire spectrum
of feeling?

If Passion is the energy, what of love and hate?
