Dear Mystress,

I have read and reread this part of your post, and I'm feeling conflicted.

It has been my experience that if I feel love within and focus on people and
send them love, it has been a positive experience. I call that my "love
meditation." That experience has transformed me. My heart feels full and
open. I have become more calm and peaceful. I'm not as apt to get caught up
in the trivial irritations. I can accept others as they are.

The only time I get whacked alongside the head is when I send love to
someone, fall "in love" with them based on my projection, and don't see them
for who they are. I fall in love with my projection and don't clearly see
the person behind the projection. At first they are awed by my attention,
and then it starts rubbing them the wrong way, like a scratchy suit that
doesn't fit right. They can never live up to the projection so it has to be
shed.

I am open to understanding your perspective. Maybe we are saying the same
thing.
