Dear lovers of the Light,

I had the pleasure today of sharing a sofa with three Tibetan Monks, one of
whom was rather well known for his healing. Only the local Monk spoke English
and the others I found out were chattering away about the size of my aura, as
well as other things of the day.

Well I will say, I was quite pleased when they decided it was okay for me to
know this... even though one of my reasons for coming was for the Monk to
talk to my higher self about my ego meddlings in spiritual affairs. As much
as I felt bliss to have the confirmation that my aura was nice and bright and
noticable, so did my ego also take it to heart and munched on it to feed
itself.

I was able to explain my seeking a teacher for healing, and my healing nature
was confirmed with three huge grins. The more talented healer Monk had just
spent several hours doing healings with 8 others in the small group, and I
was the last one. My empathy for a tiring day could not resist taking him by
the hand in the quiet of the little room, placing our palms together and
giving him a good zap of God/dess energy for my gratitude of his healing.
Have you ever heard a Tibetan Monk giggle? It will echo in my mind for a very
long time.

But that was not the end of my simple thoughtful tributes. The Monks were
forever travelling, and now in the bright Florida sun, and I can always think
to myself how I would put on my darkest sunglasses on the plane or in the car
and be sheltered behind them enough for rather intense meditating even in the
most public places... So with me, I had my very darkest sunglasses to give
him with some other things... and after that little giggle, it seemed like a
good time... taking him in front of the mirror in the next room to try them
on and give them to him. Again, the bliss that came from his acceptance was
worth a million... and the cool dude look in contrast to what he really was
seemed radically hysterical. By the time he walked down the hall to show his
little gift, I could have sworn I saw his higher self doing a little jig.

It was a very memorable day, indeed... and I am estatic to be invited to
spend time for two more days... and my questions about the differences
between ReiKi and TummoFire healing is why they now know I came. Perhaps I
will be hearing more on this tomorrow, and I also asked to be recommended to
a teacher.
