Dear listers,

Going through the signs and symptoms again, I came across something that struck me, must have overlooked it before:
- numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the LEFT foot and leg)

Some years ago I had a strange dream: I was sitting opposite myself, the woman in front of me (me) was naked and I was holding her left foot in my hand. However: the foot was cut off just above the ankle! It was a clear straight cut, there was no blood running, and I seemed to have no pain. Still, the me that was holding the foot was puzzled and wondering how to sow this foot back on - it did't seem right that it was off, obviously.

The dream was so clear it stayed with me for days in such a strong way I actually had to draw the hand holding the foot, to get rid of the feeling that I was walking around with a loose left foot in my hand all day!
At that time I had an anthroposophical therapist(psychologist), who interpreted this as were my two legs a symbol for my two parents. Since I hardly knew my father, this amputated left foot would be my absent father, me wanting to put him back on/back in my life.
It made some sense to me then, and since I went looking for my father and did more bodywork/therapy, my left leg definitely seems to be more part of my body. (bodyworkers could sense my absent feeling in the left leg)

Does anybody else have experiences like this?
