On 2001/06/27 10:14, User Friendly posted thus to the K-list: I don't know the tastes of you all on the list
but mine are much of an electronic flavor. I love
many forms of music, but my current and long
standing passion is downtempo/experimental/triphop
ambient music. If anyone has heard of Dj shadow,
or Talvin Singh, then you know what I mean. If not,
I reccomend listening to some of Talvin Singh.

He is a dj/producer that makes and spins progressive
jungle beats with ambient/experimental percussion, and
he has a wonderfu lindian accent to his music. Much like
Dj Shadows Bombay the hard way (I think that's it). My
relevance to the group is, have you found any music that
helps you meditate?

I don't know if it helps me concentrate or not, but
talvin singh's tracks with ambient choruses and indian
instrumental peices and vocals simply put me in a zone
that I can completely delve within my own mind/etc.
This could be more of an imagination excersise than
one of concentration, just an interesting thought. If
you have listened to these artists I mentioned or the
type of music I am talking about and know of similar
artists/music please inform me. ESP those of indian
influence, as they captivate me.
