To me, anything less is a creation--a small-g god, not the genuine
article. If God is not bigger than His own creation (including the
sensation of "energies" such as kundalini), He's not big enough to
be God in my book.

Or it could be the opposite: that people de-personify God in order to
neutralize or "tame" Him and make Him more malleable and
controllable. according to human whims. A God who has no personality
and volition of His own can't speak to us, can't tell us what to do,
can't object to what we do. How conveeeenient!
 A few questions for ya:

* Do you mean to say that the idea of a personal God is only a
"God-concept," but the idea of an impersonal God is not a
"God-concept"? If so, why?

* If both are concepts, what would make the latter concept inherently
superior to the former?

* How would you (or for that matter, anyone on this forum) know that
God is *not* personal?

So often, people think they have risen above concepts and dogmas,
when
in reality they have only discarded the ones they don't like in favor
of new ones. Only *other* people have God-concepts ... but I have the
*TRUTH*, dammit, because I've got the "new and improved" God-concept!

concept of an all knowing BEING

Why? I'm curious. With me it's just the opposite: I find the concept
of an amorphous, impersonal blob of energy creating a
universe(s) full of intelligent personalities, to be completely
unsatisfying and inconceivable.

But what if THE God is not? :)
