Very interesting. It reminds me of a little essay I have saved
somewhere (written by a Christian e-brother of mine over in Arvika,
Sweden :) about "Christian cannibalism"--i.e., the infighting and
backbiting amonst people who call themselves Christians.

I agree with the overall thesis that cannibalism of any kind is bad.
However, I disagree with some of the supporting statements.

> This resentment develops into rage. It becomes a terrible long-
lasting bitterness and then descends into the cycle of violence. It
is evident in Israel and Palestine. It is evident in Northern
Ireland and among Islamic fundamentalists in their so-called "holy
wars." It is evident in America in the "gun culture." ....

I'm curious: What is this violent, hateful "gun culture" you refer
to? Are you referring to crack dealers and street gangs? Armed
robbers? Murderers seen on the TV news?

Have you ever handled or shot a gun? Do you know any gun owners?

Swiftly galloping out of the bloodied Christian past and descending
with a terrible vengeance were the Crusades and the torturing Spanish
Inquisition.
That was *not* a "Christian past." The real Christians were
usually the ones being tortured and massacred. Revelation 17 and
other scriptures foretold that way in advance.

Of course. But how do you change human nature? Where do you get the
power to translate love from a concept to a reality? Is kundalini
that power? I'm not sure. It could be a tool, but plenty
of "enlightened" gurus and teachers with awakened kundalini have
displayed that they are still imperfect mortals like the rest of us.

> Now it is we who are the stupid ones. We tell people that their
God concept is not good enough to suit us.

Now this is an interesting statement.

I am personally not satisfied with a "God concept"; I prefer God--the
One who preceded the universe, who preceded all of us and all our
concepts and -isms--the One who would still be here if all of us
ceased to exist.

To me, anything less is a creation--a small-g god, not the genuine
article. If God is not bigger than His own creation (including the
sensation of "energies" such as kundalini), He's not big enough to be
God in my book.

By the way, I realize that contradicts a major "ism" or worldview of
probably most people on this forum. What can I say? I got it from
my "spirit guide." ;-)
