Hi Lisa, list-
I found that the intimate love-empathy awareness
of the energy of others seems to have a practical
application for me...
I've been experimenting with sensing people as energy
and letting my responses to that energy be my responses to that
person... I send a lot of love to some people I meet even
as I withdraw from them because I don't
want to share space with their energy,
and in the presence of some other people I completely relax and
open...
and most people are somewhere in between I imagine (I notice
the extremes most).
This has led to me opening to people I'd normally put on my
ick list due to stereotypes- 2 street people for example,
and one man I'd never met before in a club, asking for sex
(in the past, anyone who so approached me would automatically
get put on my creepo list...)
On the other side, I am distancing in
one friendship with a woman I have dearly loved
but I experience energetically as a combination of stone wall
and vacuum cleaner.
Feeling the love and joy has turned into
a quick and visceral way of knowing who to trust and play with, and
so far,
I haven't been misled in the sense of trusting and opening to someone
who turned out to be hurtful for me.
I don't think I will ever "see" auras, but I feel them and that seems
to work just fine.
