Holly - I think your experience above is quite a gift. I've actually
only
had that experience once, years ago after a particularly powerful
dream in
which I was told that by the end of my life I would earn my wings (as
in
angel wings - I know, it sounds corny to me, too!). At that time I
was
VERY focused on the goal of total merging of the sense of I into the
One
(no recognition of I as a concept - total loss of any identity).
Anyway,
the dream was actually a disappointment, as I didn't want to continue
forth
as a separate consciousness - even in a service role... However, all
day
for that entire day I was connecting with people at a direct heart to
heart
(for lack of a better descriptive) level. It was the very first and
ONLY
time in my life that I've experienced this to this degree - and
became very
aware of the judgements we instantaneously and spontaneously make
about one
another when we meet (she's short, he's heavy, she looks nice, he
looks
mean) - these judgements were conspicuous by their absence! I was in
downtown Tacoma, passing people on the street, and not thinking
anything
about them but that I loved them. Is this the experience you have
now? It
is a truly wonderful experience! I'm sure there are many on this
list who
have and/or ARE experiencing it! Anyway, I appreciate your
response -
it's the second one I've gotten confirming that we are sharing so many
similarities in this adventure! I'm still a glutton for
confirmation! :-)
