Pepper,

If you want to see an ET, then you need to take steps to initiate contact.
That is one of the primary purposes of CSETI (www.cseti.org). They are one
of the few groups that actually trains people to go out into the field and
initiate contact, and they say they have been very successful with
attracting extraterrestrial craft to their locations. These are what are
called CE-5 contacts (close encounters of the fifth kind). In their
training they are preparing for actual boarding of an ET craft, though I
don't believe that has happened yet with this particular group. But when it
does, it is far more likely to happen to people like this, who are prepared
and have the proper attitude, than to Joe Average sitting around on his
couch watching the tube, waiting for them to knock on his door.

We make the assumption that these beings should just appear to all of us at
the Super Bowl and end all of the uncertainty. But why should they? It may
make more sense from their point of view to contact only people who really
want to make contact with them and are not exhibiting a hostile or fearful
attitude towards them.

If you say you will not believe in aliens until you see one with your own
eyes, ask yourself if you apply this same standard to other things you
accept as fact. Do you know for an absolute fact that the earth is a
sphere? Have you been in space and seen it? Do you even know that there is
in fact a country called Uzbekistan? Have you ever been there, or at least
met somebody from Uzbekistan? Do you really know that water has two atoms
of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen?

There is overwhelming evidence from credible eyewitnesses, photographs,
artifacts, etc., that this phenomenon is real. One need only read a book
like Extraterrestrial Contact, by Steven Greer, to see just how much
evidence there is. But I would certainly encourage you to try to make
contact yourself if that is something that interests you.
