begun to use computerese to demonstrate and understand how
the various aspects of the human mind work. With my question
being: What part of a computer would the ego be equivalent
to? Could you or any other interested person hazard a guess?

Without a doubt, I think its a combination of that old obsolete EDO RAM
memory and a very slow seek-time rated slave drive, which has all the memory
of our ancestors stored there, and just taking up room in the box while
competing with the main hard drive for functional use...
