On 2001/05/04 17:28, Christopher Wynter posted thus to the K-list:  From the definitions I have used, I see both as left brain ..

however, the difference is in how they process both the data and
the programs .. so yes, I could see how you can identify with the
brain ...

to go deeper, could I suggest that the left brain is akin to a 1 bit
single processor .. even less than the old z80 or 6108 processor
and the right brain has the processing capabilities of a Cray .. or
super computer.

In the human model, if both can be likened to the brain, the left
brain can be upgraded to act more intuitively as per Mac .. but
the operating system and the programming must be changed.

What has to be done to facilitate this is to change some of the
CMOS and the hardwiring jumpers on the "Mother Board" ..
or upgrade the Mother Board with a newer or more capable
model .. and the pun is very definitely intended here.

I tried an experiment once when I was supervising the acquisition
of a new computer system .. trying various combinations of
software and hardware .. and we could get some pretty basic
instruction sets to do some rather amazing things ..

again .. notice the use of the words .. "instruction sets"
(which is both computerese and mother program) <g>
