My grandmother was wonderful.

Met her 10 year younger husband when they were both serving in the
Marines during World War I. ( yes, she was a Marine officer.)

Played the piano for silent movies in the theater.

Her family were pioneer settlers that came in covered wagons to settle
in Missouri in the early 1800s. Farmers all except for one
congressman.

Loved to watch the Cubs play baseball every Sunday afternoon after
church.

She would hug and cuddle me and laugh and gave me her big brown cow
eyes.

Thank you for causing me to remember.
