This reminds me of a very good thread awhile back, on this list or maybe
HarshaSatsang, about the loneliness in realization. Some say that we
encounter the aloneness inherent in the oneness of God -- the divine longing
that led to creation. Some say the unbearable melancholy that arises
sometimes on the path is the hardest aspect of awakening. Our human
loneliness on this journey reflects, and occasionally touches upon, some kind
of unfathomable, cosmic sorrow. Best wishes on your marvelous anniversary.
Love, Holly
