  unless there is NO seeking,
  No expectation of outcome

   of what the self is
   or should be like

  of your sub conscious and UNCONSCIOUS

Remember - the realisation of the conscious mind
(left / linguistic / logical / linear brain)
occurs approximately 500 milli seconds AFTER
the unconscious/subconscious (right brain)
has made the decision to act -
  based on its own programming
   and already responded below the level
   of conscious awareness

This has been actually measured by neuroscientists
in research in the US and UK.

The true self can only be found when the right brain
is not responding to unconscious and subconscious
impulses ...

  and you thought you had free will .. <g>

(if anyone wants more info on this, I am happy
to provide whatever I have - which may well
invalidate a number of urban spiritual myths)
