Subject: [K-list] Beginning to see it

I was out in the back yard earlier today, just 'there.' Listening to the
sounds of birds, the water falling from the fountain in the fish pond, the
wind dancing through the leaves of trees - everything.

I sat pondering as usual, of what "being at one with all" and the termed
sort really means. My thinking of it was soon suspended, though.

A carpenter bee(i'm guessing? umm.. the big black kind) came buzzing around,
as leisurely as I was sitting there. It came by me, just as an old friend
would stop in and have a chat. It hovered there in front of me, moving
slowly around my body, looking at me, examining me. I'd never seen anything
like it, a bee just hovering there for a while looking at me. It was
strange, but then began to feel so familiar - like we knew each other. I
started giggling, as if it had told me a joke.

I learned a lot from the bee.
