Subject: [K-list] Emotional Detachment
From: Fiona and Christopher

Susan ..

Emotional Detachment is a very dangerous path ..
unless both the emotions and their origins are acknowledged. .

for if they are not, they will lie in wait
for the next reflection to be presented
so they can jump up again ..

going so far as to lie in the unconscious mind
creating the exact scenario they need
  to reveal themselves.

Can I expand a little ..

Both
  Enlightenment
  and the Light

   are an illusion.

The only way beyond emotion
  is for the personality < I >
that has wants and needs to cease to exist
  in its separation ...

it is only the personality or ego < I > that
thinks and wants and feels ..

and the moment it does, I (compassionate observer)
  ask the question
"who is the < I > that thinks, wants and feels"
and
who is the other < I > that is creating
what is being thought, wanted or felt ...

this is a classic subject - object judgement
based on lesser that <> greater than ..

two personality < I > parts playing out their separation,
  each a learned behaviour.

The greater < I > embraces all of these,
and has no such little self sense.

This is an aspect of the Compassionate Observer < I >
the expression of Self's Buddha nature.
