and hello everybody else!

isn't it just so cool that we all our blessed enough with warm homes & food &
computers & the k list & other internet capabilities? many of us have good
jobs & companionship & blessed with many talents. We have some or all of our
health, we are the miracle of life, & take for granted the five or four or six
(or more) senses. I am overcome with gratitude for so much lately, things I
have often took for granted; they seem like such small things - so easy to
forget, like vision & mobility & the involuntary muscle contractions which are
responsible for providing us the means by which to breath...in Truth, really
not *small* things at all!

now, here's a new one on me! I already have so many other problems, keeping
afloat & remaining sane two of my larger priorities. When - lo & behold -
suddenly I start having these other problems with my daddy toe-nails, of all
things! It got to the point where even moving my foot caused pain, & putting
on shoes or boots was becoming excruciating!

well, come to find out - I was at the doctor's for other things just
yesterday, & she kept me waiting soooo loooong, that I took off my socks & was
staring at my daddy toenails when she came in. And, a good thing too! Cos I
chatted her up about the more (seemingly) crucial things, & she asked me about
my feet, before we parted. So I told her my toenail story, & she took a look.

so it seems that there is such a critter as "toenail fungus" which grows under
the nails, & makes the nail very very very thick, so it starts impressing
itself into the tender skin surrounding it.

Now "chop wood, carry water..." - even these little fungi are a part of the
Master Plan which seeks our awareness on the road to enlightenment. (I
hesitate to kill them, maybe just convert them to my way of thinking...).

Can't you just imagine - in this microscopic microcosm - that there are whole
universes & galaxies contained within each cell, within each fungi, & even
between our toenails & feet.
It has been a very long time since I have been forced to pay attention to my
toenails. I had never even heard of "toenail fungus", but treated them with
filing them down to a workable thickness, & treated them with Tea Tree Oil,
just once - last night - & today (hooray) the throbbing toenail pain is gone!

And then next - to my next amazement - I casually mentioned this to my friend
this morning & - wa la! - she also has the exact same problem!

well, around here - ya know - it's all virgin rainforest. The cars rust, the
paint peels, & definitely we live with "the fungus amongst us". So - why
should it be such a big surprise??

ya wake up in the morning with a pre-ordained set of priorities - food,
bathing, clothing, living by your wits - & suddenly the dam toenails are
supercedeing above all priorities - how absurd!

so, yes - Angelique - this is a recent very interesting thing I've been up to
lately - filing the swollen daddy toenails & rubbing teatree oil. It was very
interesting to me; that there is a benevolant god/ess(es), & they allow the
formation & growth of living organisms under the toenails!

Gadzooks! I just hate having to become microscopically aware, because next
thing I'm reading about dust mites feeding on human skin flakes, & excreting
fecal material, & the doubling rate of the common microscopic dust mite
(thousands a day)...

Bleh! I have always maintained that *if* I ever accidentally lose my cool &
get institutionalized, I would be the crazy one in the corner washing their
hands over & over & over (germs everywhere!), maybe sandpapering my outer
epidermal layer before retiring... Microscopic awareness isn't all it's
cracked up to be! lolol!
:-)

Boring??? You want "boring"? hahahahaha!
viva!
