Does it matter where/how a holy man is born? I do not care about the story
of the birth of Jesus. But rather I focus on the beautiful words of truth
and wisdom that he spoke, and his actions during his brief life. A rose by
any other name would be a rose. Can we not separate the man from history and
see him for what he is/was, a holy man, a Yogi, a person with a higher
consciousness. Forget all the garbage and history surrounding him, and all
the religions that built up around him. Focus on the man for what he was. He
did no wrong. It was others who came after him that used and twisted his
teachings for personal gain of power. They were ordinary human beings driven
by ego and desire for power.

Jesus was not an ordinary human being, but rather a Realized Being. No one
understood what he was talking about because he spoke from a higher
consciousness. Hindu Yogis for centuries have accepted Jesus as one of there
own! He is reverenced as one of the highest Yogis who have graced this
planet. It was through studying the Gita that I came to understand what
Jesus was saying and to realize his full beauty as a Realized Being. Perhaps
you should try reading books that explain Jesus from another point of view.
Those old cynical books have been around for a long time and are based on
some author's limited knowledge and limited consciousness. Try the Gita or
Yogananda, and then read scriptures again. The meaning of the words will
then be evident!

Peace and Love! Carol
