On 2001/01/20 12:03, Michael Read posted thus to the K-list:

In those days the priests of the synagogue were wont
to call each other 'Angels' and 'Arch Angels'. Vessels they deemed
themselves of the 'Holy Spirit'.

Mary, a child of some thirteen years, was found pleasing to the
'Holy Spirit' of the priest most high. Thus, a child was concieved.

Mary, a child of an eminent person, was trothed to Joseph, a simple
and devout carpenter. Who finding her with child not of his union, was
minded to put her away.

Words were spoken, an agreement struck, a story put forth. And Joseph
wed Mary and prospered in his trade.

Ans so the story begins.
