On every tree there can be seen a spot where a prior limb was...A limb that
produced beautiful buds each spring....and even though there are many others
limbs, the grief of one gone is felt in order to see the beauty of the entire
tree..........and so just as I have two arms and two legs....there is also a
spot within me where there is a limb that once was alive..all of my
ancestors...those who came before me..who suffered from the rule of an
external god.... ......and it is within that pain that the grief can be felt
for what has come before us...If this is not realized, then kundalini merely
awakens that which our ancestors once believed...and the wisdom of creation
remains far away.......... It is in the acknowledgment first of our bodies
and every cell within them....trusting that everything they feel will bring
freedom.....every prior being who needs to speak and be listened to
.....knowing their grief...then comes the understanding.....It is all done
within...by the power and love within to surrender all that is believed to be
on the outside...
