"One of These Days"
... A Cadence...

"One of these days,"
is The Innocent's phrase
that transcends to a powerful quote:

Passing ships in the night,
turbulent oceans of plight,
self-made maps and scripted legends
to cope.

A populated maze,
dancing steps, heartless craze...
Devotedly in love with just HOPE --
to give with no condition,
with no remorse or regret,
its a feeling it's only "a joke"!

If understood, you will say,
"One of These Days" is a way
to lay claim to what many *did* get.
To cry like a cloud
there are new rainbows made.
And, "alone" becomes dance on a net.

The skill to dance coolly
into wounds of defeat:
Invincible at the sight of first tear!
Bleed without scar
and one erases regret --
A profound few even know this premier.

Devotion to those
who love in these ways,
as desire to find *Us* prevails.
A visionary's dance
to syncopate the phrase:
... just an ordinary

"One of these days!"
